Malum Caedo: Chainsword start and evolution

Malum Caedo starts Warhammer Survivors with a Chainsword. He is an Ultramarines Sternguard Veteran and the protagonist of Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, but that separate game’s title is not his Survivors starting weapon.

A concrete first pairing

The October community table reports Chainsword + Tape Measure → Eviscerator Chainsword. If this is the path you want, watch for Tape Measure while choosing upgrades. Exact required levels and the current evolution trigger are not established by that table.

Use the attack shape to plan movement

The official description gives the base Chainsword horizontal serrated strikes that can hit several enemies. Our learning suggestion is to use that direction when judging approaching groups while keeping an escape path. It is not a measured range, damage ranking or promise that an enemy directly above you cannot be hit.
