Whirlwind Battery: the current Orbital Bombardment path

Whirlwind Battery + Liquid Green Stuff → Orbital Bombardment is the October pairing. Tape Measure is the companion in the older May list, not the current reported answer for this weapon.

What the names describe

The current hands-on observes missiles arriving from above for Whirlwind Battery. The April official reveal describes Orbital Bombardment as an evolved barrage of voidship fire from above. Neither supplies an exact blast radius, salvo count, cooldown or current damage value.

If you have Tape Measure in the current report, its documented use is Chainsword → Eviscerator Chainsword. If you have Liquid Green Stuff, the reverse lookup also shows the separate Age of Sigmar Brazier Staff pairing.

Whirlwind Battery is not Whirlwind Axes

Neave’s Whirlwind Axes is the result of Tempest Axes and Sabaton in Age of Sigmar. The similar “Whirlwind” name does not connect that recipe to this 40k battery.

Keep the weapon, companion and universe together when comparing a guide against your run. Required levels and the general evolution trigger are still not established by the current table.
